UMN's 2025 Research Ethics Day is Devoted to AI Ethics

This annual research ethics conference, sponsored by the Research and Innovation Office (RIO) and partners at the University of Minnesota (UMN), gathers speakers from Columbia, Harvard, Indiana, Emory, Carnegie-Melon, and Vanderbilt universities; Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, and the NIH, across five consecutive sessions on AI ethics in research: 

  • Ethical Use of AI in Research (10:15 am)
  • Bias & Inclusion (11:15 am)
  • Norms on AI/ML in Scholarship (12:30 pm)
  • Consent & Engagement with Human Participants (2 pm)
  • Oversight of AI in Research (3 pm)

Continuing Education Units are available, and an application for up to 4.75 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ is pending review.
