Campus Construction Update

Starting September 14, we’re closing the Menino building lobby entrance. Ankylosing Spondylitis

Ankylosing spondylitis is the main type of spondyloarthritis, in the same family as psoriatic arthritis. The main symptom of ankylosing spondylitis is inflammation of the spine, leading to back stiffness and pain. Over time, the spine can become fused.

BMC rheumatologists are leaders in diagnosis and treatment of ankylosing spondylitis, conducting extensive research in this disease, and leading national treatment guidelines. Our renowned experts provide specialized therapies, including many new treatments and infusion therapies. A clinical pharmacist works closely with the clinicians and patients in the clinic to help make sure you have all the information you need about your medications and that treatments are given as safely as possible.
