Nondiscrimination Policy Update

This brochure is designed to help parents understand the special education process and the rights of parents when their child has been referred for or is receiving special education services.

A Parent's Guide to Special Education
This guide was written together by the Federation for Children with Special Needs (FCSN) and the Massachusetts Department of Education. It was developed to serve as a resource for parents and the organizations that serve them. This guide is also available from FCSN by calling 800-331-0688 or downloading it from the FCSN Web site. It is available in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
