Oliver Diaz

Oliver Diaz is a professional dedicated to the healthcare and social assistance sectors, with over 15 years of experience in roles ranging from patient access coordination and resource navigation to risk analysis. He was born and raised in the Dominican Republic, where he began his professional career. In 2017, he moved to the United States, seeking new opportunities and professional growth. He has worked at South End Community Health and the Dr. Gerald Hass Center in Boston. There, he had the opportunity to help patients navigate the healthcare system, manage records, and coordinate essential resources during the COVID-19 pandemic, which laid the necessary foundation for me to become a Patient Navigator at Boston Medical Center. Currently, he is the Coordinator of the Housing Emergency Program at Boston Medical Center, where his primary responsibility is to ensure that patients and their families have access to culturally and linguistically appropriate services in a complex healthcare environment. His passion for helping others and dedication to improving healthcare and insurance services have guided him at every step of his career, and he hopes to continue growing and contributing to this field.
