This standalone unit is a part of Boston Medical Center’s Emergency Department. Providers evaluate and treat adults, children, and adolescents with emergency psychiatric needs and provide referrals to an appropriate level of care as necessary. Services include psychiatric evaluation, medical evaluation and clearance, crisis intervention, and psychopharmacology.
