The Yawkey building entrance is now closed.

As of April 29, BMC’s Yawkey building doors are closed as an entrance. All patients and visitors on our main campus must enter the hospital via the Shapiro, Menino, or Moakley buildings, where they will be greeted by team members at a new centralized check-in desk. Learn more.

Recovery Learning Community provides free peer-to-peer services, including peer support, advocacy, education, and career coaching, for individuals in recovery from mental health and/or substance abuse issues. Services are available in Greater Boston, Cambridge, Somerville, and the Southeast region. The certified peer specialists are employed in crisis units and go with the mobile teams to participate in patient evaluations and follow-ups.

BMC has a grant from the Department of Mental Health to fund the Metro Boston Recovery Learning Community and Peer Support Services in Greater Boston, Cambridge, Somerville and the Southeast region. For more information, visit Metro Boston Recovery Learning Community.
