About

David L. Coleman, MD, is a board-certified inpatient medical attending and infectious disease consult attending at Boston Medical Center (BMC) and an emeritus professor at Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine. After receiving his medical degree, Dr. Coleman completed an internal medicine residency and an infectious disease fellowship at Yale-New Haven Medical Center. Dr. Coleman’s research initially focused on the regulation of macrophage activation and proliferation. His most recent research has focused on medical and civic professionalism in medical education and clinical practice.
