About

Ricardo M Munarriz, MD, is a urologist and Director of the Center of Sexual Medicine at Boston Medical Center (BMC). Dr. Munarriz is also an associate professor of Urology at Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine, where he oversees the fellowship in Sexual Medicine, Reproductive and Transgender Medicine/Surgery, and Urinary Incontinence. Dr. Munarriz completed his fellowship in Male Infertility and Male and Female Sexual Dysfunction at Boston University Medical Center and has been in practice for over 20 years. He has co-authored more than 150 peer reviewed papers and chapters on both male and female sexual dysfunction. His research interests include male, female, transgender medicine and surgical education. Dr. Munarriz is the former President of The Society of Prosthetic Urologic Surgeons and a current member of several other sexual medicine and urologic associations and boards.
