About

Alan C. Moss, MBChB, PhD, is a board-certified gastroenterologist and the director of the Crohn’s and Colitis Program at Boston Medical Center (BMC) and a professor at Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine. After receiving his medical degree, Dr. Moss completed a gastroenterology fellowship at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. His research interests include microbial therapeutics, mucosal immunology, and clinical outcomes. Dr. Moss has published over 120 research papers and has held positions at a number of journals, including Crohn's & Colitis 360 and the World Journal of Gastroenterology. Dr. Moss is also a reviewer for national and international research bodies, including the NIDDK and the European Research Council.
