Campus Construction Update

Starting September 14, we’re closing the Menino building lobby entrance. About

Arpan Mohanty, MBBS, MS is a hepatologist at Boston Medical Center and Assistant Professor of Medicine Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine. She is board certified in advanced/ transplant hepatology, gastroenterology, and internal medicine, and specializes in treating a variety of acute and chronic complex liver diseases, including nonalcoholic and alcohol related fatty liver disease, viral hepatitis, liver cancer, drug induced liver injury and alpha-1 antitrypsin disease. Her research interests are in biomarker development and health care delivery in chronic advanced liver disease. Her research has been funded by the National Institute of Minority Health and Health Disparities, American Association for the Study Liver Diseases (AASLD) and the Radiological Society of North America. She serves as the principal investigator for several trials in nonalcoholic fatty liver disease. She is an active member of the AASLD and serves in its practice guidelines committee.
