About

Manish Sagar, MD, is a board-certified internal medicine and infectious disease physician at Boston Medical Center (BMC) and a professor at Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine. After receiving his medical degree, he completed an internal medicine residency at Johns Hopkins University and an infectious disease fellowship at the University of Washington. His research focuses on HIV-1 transmission and antibodies. Dr. Sagar has served on numerous committees including NIH study sections and the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation Early Career Development Award Review Committee. He is also an active member of the Infectious Diseases Society of America.
