Campus Construction Update

Starting September 14, we’re closing the Menino building lobby entrance. About

Robert D Oates, MD, FACS, is a urologist at Boston Medical Center (BMC). Dr Oates is also a professor of Urology and the Vice-Chairman of the Department of Urology at Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine. He is an expert in male reproductive medicine and surgery, and has shared his expertise at many local, national and international meetings. He has been instrumental in male reproductive surgical research, and currently collaborates with colleagues across the globe on numerous research projects involving male reproductive failure, Klinefelter syndrome, and transgender surgery. Dr. Oates completed his fellowship in Male Reproductive Medicine and Surgery at Baylor College of Medicine, and has been in practice for more than 30 years. He has been named numerous times as one of Castle and Connolly’s Best Doctors in America.
