Campus Construction Update

Starting September 14, we’re closing the Menino building lobby entrance. This, along with the ongoing Yawkey building entrance closure, will help us bring you an even better campus experience that matches the exceptional care you've come to expect. About

Thomas W Barber, MD, is an internal medicine physician at Boston Medical Center (BMC) as well as an associate professor of General Internal Medicine at Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine. As a medical educator, Dr. Barber emphasizes clinical decision making, communication skills, evidence-based medicine, the humanities in medicine, and nurturing spirituality and wellness. Dr. Barber received his medical degree from University of Connecticut School of Medicine and has been in practice for more than 30 years. His expertise includes both outpatient and inpatient internal medicine, with an emphasis on the care of patients with HIV, other infectious diseases, and mental illness, as well as transgender health care.
