Cheek Lift
Collagen and elastin within your connective tissues naturally diminish with age. Within the cheek, the fat and skin descend from the malar eminence (the cheek bone) starting in the late twenties and early thirties and contributes to the early-aging look most men and women begin to notice in their 40's and 50's. Also referred to as a cheek lift, this procedure targets the midface. Offering a shorter recovery time than a traditional facelift and greater results than injectable fillers, a mid-face lift provides restored volume to the cheeks and a fresher appearance.

Eye Lid Surgery (Blepharoplasty)
Blepharoplasty is aimed to reduce the excess of the skin of the eyelids as well as any swelling or sagging of the fat around the eye. These common effects of aging can result in a tired or sad facial expression. Fat Injections
Providing volume to the cheeks can restore a more youthful appearance to the face. For some individuals, lifting the cheek is not the answer. Instead, fat from the belly, thighs or buttocks can be harvested to inject into the cheeks to provide needed volume. While this is a more-invasive option than fillers, it is less-invasive than lifting and provides longer-term volumization than biologic filler can offer.

Functional Rhinoplasty
Functional rhinoplasty differs from cosmetic rhinoplasty in that in functional rhinoplasty, the goals are altering the anatomy of the nose to relieve nasal obstruction. This typically requires rebuilding the area at the junction between the lower third and middle third of the nose that is responsible for greater than 50% of the resistance to breathing (called the nasal valves), elevating the nasal tip, straightening the nose, or a combination of these procedures. While changes in the appearance of the nose are not goals of the procedure, some may be required as a more proportioned nose results in a more patent airway. During your consultation, Dr. Ezzat will discuss his examination findings with you and explain what options are available to you to improve your nasal passages.

Microvascular Reconstructive Surgery
Microvascular reconstruction is an advance form of reconstructive surgery whereby tissue with arteries and veins from your arm, leg, chest or back are harvested and utilized to reconstruct your face, scalp, throat or mouth. The microvascular portion involves suturing these small vessels (2-3mm wide) to arteries and veins in the neck to re-establish a blood supply to the tissue. This is a technically demanding procedure that requires the use of a microscope and suture that is finer than human hair. This procedure has been shown to improve outcomes in terms of maintaining the function of the head and neck and better aesthetic outcomes for patients with traumatic and congenital defects or require surgery for head and neck cancer.
