Campus Construction Update

Starting September 14, we’re closing the Menino building lobby entrance. This, along with the ongoing Yawkey building entrance closure, will help us bring you an even better campus experience that matches the exceptional care you've come to expect. Please enter the Menino and Yawkey buildings through the Moakley building, and make sure to leave extra time to get to your appointment. Thank you for your patience.

The Boston University Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship Program offers a 1 month elective in sports medicine for residents. The elective involves patient care at our various orthopedic and sports medicine clinical sites, college training rooms, and sideline game coverage. The resident will work closely with our sports medicine fellow, and will participate in sports medicine didactic sessions throughout the month. Preference will be given to those residents who are applying to our fellowship, and to our own Boston University Family Medicine Residents. All other residents will be considered based on availability.

Interested Residents should send the following information to Katie Whitley (Kathryn.Whitley@bmc.org):

  • Dates of requested elective
  • Current CV
  • 3 objectives for this rotation
  • If not clearly included in your CV, please include information about your sports medicine experience to date

In order to be able to participate in a rotation at Boston Medical Center you must have:

  • MA Limited License
  • Your own malpractice coverage
  • Affiliation Agreement between your sponsoring program and Boston Medical Center
