Campus Construction Update

Starting September 14, we’re closing the Menino building lobby entrance. This, along with the ongoing Yawkey building entrance closure, will help us bring you an even better campus experience that matches the exceptional care you've come to expect. BMC Geriatrics patients admitted to the hospital have their care overseen by a geriatrics doctor on the Geriatrics Inpatient Service, which includes physicians and nurses specializing in geriatrics, pharmacists, physical and occupational therapists, social services, and specialists as needed. We also coordinate your care after you leave the hospital, to ensure you have everything you need to stay healthy.

Geriatrics Fellowship

BMC offers a one-year fellowship in geriatric medicine, in which fellows serve as primary care providers to patients in our Home Care Program, Ambulatory Clinic, and Nursing Home Practice. Fellows also complete rotations in specialized areas such as inpatient care, dementia care, and palliative care, providing a well-rounded clinical experience.
