About

Rachel L. Epstein, MD, MScE, is a board-certified infectious disease clinician-scientist at Boston Medical Center (BMC) and an assistant professor of medicine and infectious disease at Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine. Dr. Epstein's research focuses on utilizing large data sets and decision modeling to inform policy and program design to improve care for people with hepatitis C, HIV, and substance use, particularly among pregnant women and youth. After receiving her medical degree from Thomas Jefferson University, she completed a combined internal medicine and pediatric residency at Brown University and an adult and pediatric infectious disease fellowship at BMC.
