Michelle G. Ganann, MS CCC-SLP, is a speech-language pathologist who specializes in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), swallowing disorders, and cognitive-communication disorders. She is the lead Clinical Specialist in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) for Boston Medical Center and Mass General Brigham Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital. She utilizes the latest technological advancements to help patients, with a variety of communication needs, maintain or improve their independence with daily activities and interactions with others. Michelle believes that the best part of her job is connecting with her patients on a personal level. She enjoys finding what is important to each patient to tailor an individualized treatment plan that is impactful and maximizes outcomes. Michelle serves as guest faculty for the Harvard Medical School NeuroRehabilitation Conference and is a member of the Council on Disability Awareness at Spaulding Rehab Hospital.
