Campus Construction Update

Starting September 14, we’re closing the Menino building lobby entrance. This, along with the ongoing Yawkey building entrance closure, will help us bring you an even better campus experience that matches the exceptional care you've come to expect. Having dressing on hand makes it easy to fix of a delicious salad. This dressing has some nutritious ingredients for a nutritional boost: flax seeds (omega 3 fatty acids good for brain and immune-system health) and herbs. 

Ingredients


Oil - ½ cup flaxseed oil or olive oil Lemon_juice - ¼ cup lemon juice Vinegar - ¼ cup cider vinegar Flax_seeds - 2 Tablespoons Herbs - 2 Tablespoons fresh herbs (such as basil, oregano, parsley, chives) or 1 Tablespoon dry herbs Garlic - 1 clove garlic, minced, or ½ teaspoon powdered Sugar - 1 teaspoon sugar or sugar substitute Salt - ½ teaspoon salt Pepper - ¼ teaspoons ground pepper

Instructions

Step 1
Put all ingredients in blender and mix until thick and smooth. Refrigerate.

Notes

* Flaxseeds must be blended or crushed to reap the benefits.

 

Flaxseeds are loaded with heart-healthy Omega-III fats. Try this dressing on a crispy green salad or in a whole grain pasta salad.
