Find Resources and Support
Orthopedic problems affect many people at some time in their lives. BMC offers support and resources to help you through an injury or chronic issue, as well as advice on how to take the best care of yourself and what to expect.
Education and Training
Orthopedic Surgery Residency
The mission of our residency program is to graduate knowledgeable orthopedic surgeons who possess the critical analysis skills needed for lifelong learning, to make the best treatment decisions for their patients, and to be able to enact those plans in whatever clinical setting they desire.
Orthopedic Surgery Fellowships
Our department offers three fellowships for physicians who have completed their residencies: adult reconstruction, focused on reconstructive hip and knee surgery; spine, focused on surgical management of spinal issues; and sports medicine, focused on all aspects of this area, as well as shoulder-related surgery.
Orthopedic Research
The Orthopaedic Research Laboratory is dedicated to exploring the scientific basis of musculoskeletal diseases and injuries, as well as developing new technologies to improve musculoskeletal function and quality of life for orthopedic patients.
