About

Zayir Malik, MD, MHPE is an Emergency Physician at Boston Medical Center and Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine. He completed his residency and medical education fellowship at the University of Chicago and obtained a Master of Health Professions Education degree through the University of Illinois at Chicago. His clinical interests include acute pain management as well as resuscitation in the emergency department. Academically, Dr. Malik is interested in all things related to medical education, with particular foci on medical culture, community-building, humanities-based educational interventions, and wellness.
