Zhichun Lu, MBBS, is a board-certified attending pathologist at Boston Medical Center (BMC) and an assistant professor of Pathology & Laboratory Medicine at Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine. Dr. Lu received her medical degree from Inner Mongolia Medical University. She then completed residency training in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at Henry Ford Health System, Detroit, Michigan in 2018 followed by a fellowship in genitourinary pathology at University of Michigan. Following her medical training, she joined BMC in 2019. Dr. Lu is board certified by the American Board Anatomic and Clinical Pathology. She is also a member of the College of American Pathologists (CAP), United States and Canadian Academy of Pathologists (USCAP), American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP), and the International Society of Urological Pathology (ISUP). In addition to her primary role as a surgical pathologist, Dr. Lu has interest in genitourinary pathology with research interests focusing on prostate cancer and renal cell neoplasms.
