Campus Construction Update

Starting September 14, we’re closing the Menino building lobby entrance. This, along with the ongoing Yawkey building entrance closure, will help us bring you an even better campus experience that matches the exceptional care you've come to expect. Please enter the Menino and Yawkey buildings through the Moakley building, and make sure to leave extra time to get to your appointment. Thank you for your patience.

Molly Ann Duggan, MS, CCLS

Molly received her M.S. in Child Life and Family Centered Care from Wheelock College and her B.S. in Rehabilitation Services with a concentration in Developmental Pediatric Rehabilitation. She completed internships at Hasbro Children’s Hospital and Emerson Hospital. Post graduate school, Molly worked as a Child Life Specialist in general pediatrics at Children’s Hospital of Richmond at VCU and most recently in both the Emergency Department and Comprehensive Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta at Scottish Rite. Molly returns to the Massachusetts area and is currently the Manager of the Child Life Team as well as the Child Life Specialist on the Pediatric Inpatient and Pediatric Intensive Care Units at Boston Medical Center.

Melissa LeFave, MS, CLS

Melissa received her B.S from Merrimack College in Human Development and Psychology. She received her M.S in Child Life and Development and Disabilities from Nova Southeastern University. She completed her internship at Dana-Farber’s Jimmy Fund Clinic - outpatient Hematology/Oncology clinic. Throughout graduate school Melissa worked as a Mental Health Specialist at Franciscan Children’s Hospital in their CBAT unit. Prior to working at Boston Medical Center Melissa worked Per Diem as a Child Life Specialist at Tufts Medical Center in their Emergency Department. Through Melissa's work and internship experience she is excited to continue her passion in making a difference in children and families lives throughout their hospital experiences.

Katie Parrish, MA, CCLS

Katie received her M.A. in Child Development and Clinical Psychology from Tufts University. She completed internships in the Operating Room and Hematology/Oncology units at Floating Hospital for Children at Tufts Medical Center. Prior to coming to Boston Medical Center, Katie was the Clinical Administrative Director for Global Smile Foundation and worked for several years as the Hematology, Oncology, and Bone Marrow Transplant Child Life Specialist at Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, D.C. Katie now joins us as the as the Pediatric Otolaryngology and OR Child Life Specialist at Boston Medical Center.
