About

Lee M. Wetzler, MD, is a board-certified microbiologist at Boston Medical Center (BMC) and a professor of medicine and infectious diseases at Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine. After receiving his medical degree, Dr. Wetzler completed internal medicine residencies at the University of Michigan Health System and Rockefeller University Hospital, as well as a fellowship at the Rockefeller University Hospital Laboratory of Bacterial Pthoigenesis. His laboratory investigates innate and adaptive immunity and microbial pathogenesis, especially in regards to vaccine development.
