About

Rebecca B. Perkins, MD, is an obstetrician-gynecologist at Boston Medical Center and an associate professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine. Dr. Perkins received her medical degree at Harvard Medical School, completed her residency at Brigham and Women's Hospital/Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School, and has been in practice for over 15 years. Her research interests focus on the prevention of cervical cancer in underserved women, improving utilization of HPV vaccinations in men and women, and the impact of new screening guidelines on cervical dysplasia and cancer outcomes. She is a member of the Boston University–Boston Medical Center Cancer Center and a Fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
