Education and Training

Boston Combined Residency Program in Pediatrics

The Boston Combined Residency Program in Pediatrics aims to provide world-class clinical training in the breadth of pediatric medicine and to help pediatricians meet the evolving needs of children, families, and populations. The residency is a combined program with Boston Children’s Hospital.

General Academic Pediatrics Fellowship

The pediatric fellowship program aims to train investigators focused on health issues affecting medically underserved communities. It is part of the broader academic primary care fellowship, offered in collaboration with Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Surgery, the Preventive Medicine Training Program, and the BU School of Public Health.

Pediatrics Research Overview

The Department of Pediatrics at Boston Medical Center leads a broad portfolio of research spanning health services, clinical, translational, and basic science studies. With over 45 principal investigators and more than $17 million in annual grant funding, the department is actively advancing pediatric research.
