TEAM Participants & Group Setup

Being a TEAM Participant

Every participant in TEAM has an important role to play. Some expectations of TEAM participants are that everyone will:

  • Stay with and interact with their TEAM group
  • Participate in the activities
  • Follow the TEAM Goals and Expectations
  • Start and/or participate in conversations with group members
  • Be open to new activities and new people
  • Have fun!

In addition, mentors have a particular responsibility to set a good example for mentees and other group members by:

  • Modeling appropriate language
  • Helping others (especially mentees) when they’re having a problem
  • Encouraging everyone to follow the TEAM Goals & Expectations
  • Working with other mentors and facilitators to make sure all group members are having fun
