Campus Construction Update

Starting September 14, we’re closing the Menino building lobby entrance. Sobre

Dr. Lykins is an attending physician in the Department of Emergency Medicine at Boston Medical Center and is Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine, Boston University School of Medicine. He attended medical school at the Pritzker School of Medicine, University of Chicago and is dual trained in emergency and internal medicine, having completed a combined residency at Virginia Commonwealth University Health System in Richmond, VA. He plans to work in both specialties at BMC. An accomplished researcher, he has published papers across both disciplines and has presented work at multiple national and international meetings in both specialties. His academic interests focus primarily on the intersection of emergency medicine and infectious disease, including optimization of sepsis management, antimicrobial stewardship in the emergency space, improved diagnostics, HIV management and LGBT health, and global health, as well as medical education (both at the undergraduate and graduate level).
