Campus Construction Update

Starting September 14, we’re closing the Menino building lobby entrance. This, along with the ongoing Yawkey building entrance closure, will help us bring you an even better campus experience that matches the exceptional care you've come to expect. Please enter the Menino and Yawkey buildings through the Moakley building, and make sure to leave extra time to get to your appointment. Thank you for your patience.

  • Our residency programs are planning to host two open houses in November. The PGY1 Open House will be on Thursday, November 7 from 7-8 pm and the HSPAL and PGY2 Open House will be on Thursday, November 14 from 7-8 pm. Please use the following link to sign up!

  • Boston Medical Center will be participating in the 2024 ASHP Residency Showcase. We will be participating in the Monday, December 9th session from 1-4 pm. We would love to see you there!

  • The PGY2 pharmacy residency programs at BMC will be participating in the ASHP Midyear PPS sessions this year. If you are not taking part in PPS, please reach out to our PGY2 programs directly if you are interested in setting up an introduction session between December 8-12, 2024. Pharmacy Residency Program Overview

The BMC Pharmacy residency programs are designed around the ASHP program requirements. Our award-winning preceptors are leaders in the pharmacy field and are continuously expanding the role of pharmacists within the healthcare industry (Read more about the most recent awards for BMC preceptors). With over 30 years of pharmacy residency experience, we are proud to be providing the most contemporary pharmaceutical care to a diverse patient population. Our graduating residents are well-prepared to pursue specialty residencies, advanced patient-care positions, and clinical faculty positions.

BMC offers 14 total positions in 8 different pharmacy residency programs. BMC is currently recruiting for 5 PGY1 residents for the 2025-2026 residency year. The remainder of the positions are dedicated to PGY2 specialty programs in Ambulatory Care, Critical Care, Emergency Medicine, Infectious Diseases, Internal Medicine, Oncology, and HSPAL.
