Acerca de

Akaesh Parekh, MD, is a radiation oncologist at Boston Medical Center (BMC), where he leads the Brachytherapy program for gynecologic malignancies. Dr. Parekh specializes in treating gynecological, head and neck, breast, and central nervous system (CNS) cancer. He is also a researcher and assistant professor of Radiation Oncology at Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine. His research interests include disparities in care affecting vulnerable populations, medical workforce diversity, patient-reported outcomes including quality of life, and healthcare systems research including operations and strategy.internal radiation therapy. Dr. Parekh speaks English, Spanish, Gujarati, and Hindi.
