Christopher M. Conley, MD, is a board-certified anesthesiologist at Boston Medical Center (BMC) and a clinical associate professor at Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine. After receiving his medical degree, he completed a residency in anesthesiology at Brigham and Women's Hospital and a fellowship in pediatric anesthesiology at Boston Children's Hospital/Harvard Medical School. Dr. Conley serves as the director of pediatric anesthesia at BMC, where he oversees inpatient and outpatient pediatric anesthesia in the operating rooms, diagnostic imaging, interventional radiology, and endoscopy. He is also the founder of BMC's Virtual Pediatric Perioperative Home or VPPH, which streamlines the pre-operative care of high-risk and medically complicated children who require anesthesia for procedures or diagnostic imaging. His research interests include perioperative optimization and risk assessment in children, feedback in graduate medical education, healthcare worker wellness, and the second victim phenomenon.
