Most patients start their treatment at one of these three BMC clinics. Which one you'll go to depends on your individual needs. Recovery coaching to help you find the right treatment program, schedule appointments, and help support and guide you throughout your recovery journey
Office-Based Addiction Treatment
BMC's Office-Based Addiction Treatment (OBAT) program helps patients access FDA-approved medications for substance use disorders within a primary care setting.
START
As part of the OBAT program, START treats people with stimulant use disorders using group therapy, physical activity, and more.
Project RESPECT
Provides prenatal care, addiction treatment, peer support, and more for pregnant women with substance use disorders
SOFAR
Provides support and medical care for both parents in recovery and their children. Call 617-414-5988 for more information
CATALYST
Provides care for adolescents and young adults with substance use disorders, including recovery coaches, psychotherapy, medications for addiction, and more
Project TRUST
A street-level drop-in center where our community health workers can give you addiction treatment resources, provide you with harm reduction education and supplies, and help you get many medical services, including wound care, HIV testing, and more
Addiction Psychiatry
Provides outpatient treatment for people with both mental health disorders and substance use disorders
Addiction Consult Service
Helps care for hospitalized patients with substance use disorders and assists with transitions to treatment after discharge
Brockton Behavioral Health Center Inpatient Psychiatric Service
Provides referral-only, 24-hours/7 day care for patients who need secure psychiatric treatment in an acute inpatient setting, including those with co-occuring subsance use disorders
Brockton Behavioral Health Center Clinical Stabilization Service
Provides 24-hour/7-day residential treatment to those seeking long-term recovery from substance use disorders, including counseling, treatment groups, skills training, medication-assisted therapy, and more

You can find addiction and mental health treatment options, as well as related resources, at https://findtreatment.gov/. Your health care provider may also be able to connect you to resources outside of BMC.
Depending on your needs, we offer buprenorphine (Suboxone), injectable buprenorphine (Sublocade), and naltrexone (Vivitrol, Revia). In certain situations, we can offer 72 hours of methadone dosing.
We also offer naloxone (Narcan) for patients who may be at risk of overdose or who have friends or family members at risk of overdose.
Some of our programs do require a referral from your doctor before you can join. These include Rapid ACCESS, our recovery coaching program, and our Brockton Behavioral Health Center. If you do not have a doctor, you can reach out to BMC primary care at 617-414-5951 to schedule an appointment.
