Our volunteers come from a variety of backgrounds and professional experiences, and generously lend their time and expertise to help us create a rich and dynamic environment to serve our clients.  They also share a strong commitment to our mission to provide holistic care to refugees and immigrants. Volunteers will be integrated into our service providing care through the Refugee Patient Navigator (RPN) program, helping patients access the necessary resources and navigational tools to reduce the barriers that many newcomers often face navigating the American health system. Volunteer opportunities include assisting with program administration through medical record data management and resource coordination, patient navigation assistance with new client intake and orientation to the complex health care system, and more. RPNs will also receive training on interacting with survivors of torture.
