Diversity, Equity and Inclusion News from Dr. Marianella Paz-Lansberg, Chair of Otolaryngology DEI Committee

Continuing with our departmental initiative to strengthen Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, our team recently had the incredible opportunity of participating in a Microaggressions Workshop and LIFT training lead by Boston University’s own Dr. Emelia Benjamin and Alyssa DiNicola. The workshop was a fantastic opportunity for us to continue create awareness and to educate all members of our department—including faculty, trainees, and staff—on these important matters. Our goal is to continue to create an environment where all can feel welcome and accepted, and where we all can thrive.
