Acerca de

Ellen Cooper, MD, is a pediatric infectious disease specialist, as well as the founder and Medical Director of the Pediatric and Adolescent HIV Program at Boston Medical Center (BMC). Dr. Cooper also leads the Transition Clinic for older adolescents who are transitioning to adult care. She is a professor of Pediatric Infectious Diseases at Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine. Dr. Cooper is a world-renowned expert and prolific researcher on pediatric HIV treatment and care. She was one of the original members of the HIV Consensus Committee, and has worked to share her expertise all over the world, including Uganda, Cameroon, South Africa, Zambia, and Ethiopia.
