Dr. Davids is the Chief of Colon and Rectal Surgery in the Department of Surgery at BMC. She completed her general surgery residency at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, followed by colon and rectal surgery fellowship at the University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School, where she was in practice for a decade and served as the fellowship Program Director
... and Associate Professor of Surgery. A nationally recognized surgeon and Castle Connolly Top Doctor, Dr. Davids’ expertise includes robotic, laparoscopic, complex open surgery, as well as anorectal surgery and colonoscopy. Her research interests include colorectal surgery outcomes and gender equity in surgery. In addition, Dr. Davids is active in the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons and currently serves on the Executive Council. She is an Associate Examiner for the Colon and Rectal Surgery Boards and is on the editorial board for Techniques in Coloproctology and Clinics in Colon and Rectal Surgery.
