Un tumor cerebral es una masa anormal de células en el cerebro que comienza en el cerebro (tumor cerebral primario) o crece a partir de un cáncer que comienza en otra parte del cuerpo y viaja al cerebro (tumor cerebral metastásico o secundario). Los tumores cerebrales pueden ser benignos (no cancerosos) o malignos (cancerosos) y, según la ubicación, los posibles síntomas incluyen náuseas y vómitos inexplicables, dolores de cabeza que empeoran progresivamente, convulsiones y cambios de personalidad.
